More Groups

As we grow, we will be launching more Missional/Community Groups all over the Lansing area. For now, please attend whichever group you live closest to and in the future we’ll be able to launch a new group in your area.

What

When we talk about “going to church” at Barefoot, we talk about going to our Community Groups. Church should be a place where you can be authentic and honest with those around you, not a place where you are just another face in a crowd and you have to pretend that you have it all together in your life. We currently have five Community Groups that meet in the Lansing area. As we grow, we hope to launch more and more of them all over the city. CG’s are places where we come together to grow in community, then we go out together to burst Christ’s love into the world (see John 13:34-35).

A typical night of CG consists of snacks or dinner, Bible discussion, and prayer.  Each group also will do service projects where they serve in their neighborhood together (will be specified on above calendar), as well as social nights where they just hang out and get to know one another better as friends.
